I implore everyone to watch the documentary “shiny happy people”. It shows a Christian fundamentalist family and the larger establishment they are part of. And it explains exactly what has been their plan all along. They have and are playing the long game, they want to take over the US, oppress everyone who’s not a straight white man and freely rape women AND children (make no mistake they do not care about young girls other than being groomed to being servants and boys are groomed to become dictators, rapists and paramilitary)
Women need to really take note here. The resources for states to identify and monitor pregnant women would be untenable. Instead, I envision they will monitor all women at any state border. That's just a quick prequel to "monitoring" women traveling outside the country. Under Project 2025, women would eventually have zero rights without a man's approval.
It's more than that though. The Tepublicans harnessed the power of religious single-issue voters by putting abortion front and center. But now they're funding that these single-issue voters don't really care about anything else in the Republican agenda and so they're not coming out as they were expected to. i think is what really hap9ened to GOP disappointing losses and the lack of the “Red Wave” in ‘22. So the Repubs HAVE to keep coming up with reasons to keep the single-issue voters engaged and voting - otherwise they won't vote at all.
When it comes to abortions - this ain't even nearly over. This is prob really still just the beginning - Repubs really have no choice but to keep finding ways to keep the issue alive.
