I'm in Missouri where there are NO exceptions on abortion, anyone, any age can carry a gun and the repubs want to make child marriage legal! I have some of these Christian Nationalists in my family and as a child when visiting these relatives went to their church where no dancing, no rock music, girls wearing pants were frowned upon and a mandatory bible reading occurred everyday at their special school. No blacks, no immigrants, no one except the white male had any authority. My state is full of these people and they are dangerous!💙✌🌹😏
I know they have a majority in government in MO, but is that due to gerrymandering? Or are they truly the majority? I grew up in SC, and I think that state is full of those people, too. Like they're really the majority, which is one reason I don't really want to be there anymore. (My church and school were similar to what you describe for your relatives.)
It's gerrymandered though majority repubs down in the southern bible belt! I'm in Kansas City which along with St. Louis is democratic. Unfortunately the Christian Nationalists already have abortion banned from conception, discrimination of LGBTQ, book bans, unlimited guns and now they're destroying our public schools. I know some women in Iran and they can tell us all the dramatic way their lives changed in the 1979 revolution. I fear far too many don't understand the awful danger we are in from these fascist and their sense of superiority that they alone were chosen to rule. So glad you are telling the Christian Nationalists story so people will understand.💙

Let's hope more Americans start taking this threat seriously. So many Americans are still like, "Oh, that won't ever happen here."
