Do we think the FBI is taking threats seriously?? I run an anonymous pro-Harris account and I’m seeing sooooo many chilling comments of, “there will be hell to pay…liberals arent the only ones with a plan…” “we are rehearsed and ready to fight for fair elections”. It’s seriously scary.
I don't know. I'd love to hear the FBI get more proactive, and I'd imagine after Jan 6 and the attack on the Cincinnati field office, they'd have to be.
Calling it out is going to take a lot of work. At least at the wilder stuff has the MSM doing that to some extent. I just keep hoping that it won't appeal to anyone who hasn't already succumbed to the cult. There can't be THAT many undecided racists out there.
What I would like to see is a little box on the front page of the NYT and WaPo labeled "unfettered crap the GOP has said today" with links/page references to somewhere deep in the paper--the astrology section?--that goes into whatever it was and with luck, why it is crap. Leave "above the fold" news, the headlines, whatever, for actual news. Maybe Americans need to be paying more attention to what is happening in places like Somalia or Azerbaijan to get some perspective on what a really broken society really is.
