"This has now become my mission in life: end this Gilded Age or die trying because we cannot leave this world to the billionaires who want to ravage us."

I'm with you. This a righteous cause.

The one billionaire that seems to actually be doing something is Mark Cuban with his cost plus drugs, and transparency in pricing. He’s making drugs , selling them at a reasonable price. Getting over 2,500 drugs already and working with some hospitals. By cutting out pharmacy benefit management… he has taken some drugs from the thousands that we or insurance covers down to like $50. Maybe less than your copay . Check it out…

As far as all the others go fuck the hell off.

Wording their acts correctly is extremely, critically important. We must not let president Musk go further with his agenda without proper labeling. Another writer on Substack or BlueSky call this Regime…the Mump Regime. Perfect combination of names + we’ll probably see a return of Mumps with this regime!

We need the Mark Cubans of our country to buy out the press! Probably the most important action needed to move forward, to hear the truth.

Yes! The new slogan could be “It’s the inequality stupid”. Billionaire greed and the hollowing out of our middle class has made the country vulnerable to misinformation and Trump. Dems should fight against Trump, Musk and their billionare buddies. Every idea and proposal should be framed on how it impacts billionaires vs how it impacts the middle class.

It’s a real opportunity for dems. How about an app tracking Musk’s wealth and how much he gains under Trump? Dems have to define the villains clearly and not let up!

Billionaires have to go. I don’t care what side they are on. Citizens’ United must be reversed. Chevron should be overturned. Keep the government stable, and keep funding of campaigns up to the voters. Going whole hog on democracy while protecting the Uber-wealthy with massive tax breaks will never work. We need a touch of —yes—socialism. We need to care for those in trouble among us. That means a social safety net.

And I think we need to codify laws to be sure a malignant , parasitic person like Trump can never be President again.
