We're picking a new state!

Dudettes and dudes for down-ballot domination, join us on Wednesday at 9 PM EDT for a live stream to talk options

The energy for Vice President Harris is historic and fantastic in several ways. Now, we will try to piggyback on that by focusing people on where they can make the most difference—down the ballot!

Hopefully, you know by now that our Flipping Arizona Giving Circle has surpassed our 2024 goal.

This is what’s known as a good problem that I never imagined having to solve.

Since you all are most invested in this project, I asked you what we should do next.

Now it’s time to pick from the states the States Project has identified as the best places to win power this November strategically:

We will go through the decks of the states we’re considering. I also want you to hear your cases—in text, video, or any other way you choose to present them.

There’s a good case for all of them, but I want to know which states interest you most. Please put your choices or cases in the comments. I think you’ll need to link me the videos directly.

It will likely be a sloppy first live session as I’ll be in the basement as my preschooler sleeps. You can join us at the earlyworm society through a post I'll put up about an hour before we go live or directly on YouTube.

The video will stay up on that site throughout the weekend so people can watch it as we vote.

Here are a few things for people who are still committed to helping Arizona, like me, or another state:

• Our Giving Guide will stay focused on Flipping Arizona.

• You can start or join a Giving Circle focused on another state, and I hope people do! That would be a victory in itself. Contact me if you’re interested in finding the right Giving Circle for you. 

• Or you can just donate directly to the States Project, which, along with Run for Something and Indivisible, offers the best bang for your general down-ballot buck.
